It is a lazy, Sunday afternoon and my Wife, Amber, asked me to shoot a few photos for a LinkedIn post. Well of course!
A few hours later, we shot six corporate lifestyle photos in our living room. We used a white background, a black background (see photo above) and used our coffee table as a desk for a few “office shots.”

Amber and I had the honor of covering the Weaver wedding. The ceremony and reception was held at the beautiful Inn at Churon Winery in Temecula, CA. One of the many perks of covering Southern California weddings is you can almost bank on good weather–even in February.
I was asked to shoot photos at a woman’s dinner event during the Christmas season. My set up was simple and effective; I used two umbrella modifiers and a five-foot reflector at the feet. Along with a festive backdrop, our shots all turned out pretty well! Next time, however, I plan on using a center strobe to fill in shadows.
Last weekend I had the pleasure of once again, covering my wife and friends on the LA Color Run 2015. The photo above is not my wife, but a person who saw me shooting and asked for her picture to be taken. More shots found on my Color Run Page
Last night, I had the pleasure of seeing a friend of mine whale on the sax with his band. I’ve always know Jordan was a good sax player, but he and the band brought down the house!
Sad to learn that the LA/Hollywood House of Blues is closing in July 2015. According to one of the bouncers, (more…)
