Midweek, two-for-one family birthday party. A boyfriend and girlfriend of my niece and nephew were both celebrating their birthdays. Of course, Sis, breaks out the iPhone and shoots endless, wide angle snapshots of the couples. In the meantime, I walked out to the car and grabbed the 70-200 f2.8, and instructed the family on a few poses. Eyes rolled at first…, but soon they went with the flow.

Rachele, pictured above, was a little nervous at first, not knowing how to pose. After a few minutes of demonstration (I probably looks goofy doing it), she caught on. The result was a stunning string of beautiful memories, both for Rachele, but especially her boyfriend, Danny–my nephew.
